The landscape design process begins with a meeting to walk the property and learn from you what it is that you are looking for. Whether it is a privacy planting, new foundation planting or a new patio, we will listen carefully and offer our feedback on what would look good. Our goal is to provide suggestions that will help you meet your ultimate design expectations.

Process:

Upon agreement on the design basics, we will make a site visit to assess the area. We will tour the property and take all the appropriate pictures, measurements and samples that will help bring the design to life. If necessary, plot plans or survey maps may be helpful in determining if there are any existing conditions that may come into play with the proposed design. At the design studio, the plan is scaled to a workable size and conceptual ideas are sketched and studied from several different perspectives. The design team then use their unique vision and skill to draw up the most practical and aesthetic design for each client. The final master plan is then hand drawn to scale, with every plant labeled. We include actual photos of each plant as needed. A perspective drawing is also available to give you a three dimensional view rather than just a plan view. Once the master plan has been completed, we will review all the details and estimate the project by area of concern. The estimate clearly shows the proposed plant material, quantity, size and price per item. This gives you the information you need when choosing which areas to work on, as well as the ability to add or change any detail from a specific area. When all is done to our satisfaction, we meet with you once again to present our ideas.
